Hi, this is my first time on Mac Forums.

I've recently bought a new Philips LCD TV with a DNLA Ethernet port, so i can stream video to it.

My mac is a PPC G5 with OSX 10.4.11 and my Router is a D-Link 604T (now discontinued. My mac is currently connected to input 1 on the router for my broadband via a network cable.

I've connected the tv to the router with a cat5e network cable to input 2 of the router. I've tried with VLC and Twonky media servers to stream to the tv, but the tv's 'PC' input says that it's unable to connect. However, in the tv's set-up section it has a MAc address and an IP address (also a netmask).

I'm sure the problem is that i haven't configured the network/firewall setting on my mac and router correctly - i've tried, but to be honest i haven't a clue how to do it.

I'm completely stuck, so any help would be hugely appreciated.
