iMac G5 interface question

I just bought a refurbished iMac G5/1.9 17-Inch and M-Audio Delta 44 from zZounds.com!- that audio interface. I'm incredibly new to macs, so I'm wondering if it is even possible to install that card into my imac g5 or if I'll have to return it and get something else?

You will have to return it. There are no PCI slots in an iMac in which to install it. As for what to replace it with, someone else will have to help with that.

Any firewire interface will do you - If it's M-Audio you're after (a requisite for using PTMP) there are a bunch of other M-Audio products, but if you're easy about software there's nothing stopping you checking out MOTU or Presonus, for example... there's a vast array of choices, and it'll come down to what you need to be able to do with it (besides successfully interface with your computer!) and what software you're running.
