linux won't mount my Tiger install dvd

Mac Pro 14gb ram 24" LED Cd & 23" Cd
I got a g4 powermac 1 ghz that is running linux. I can't get it too install tiger, it won't seem to boot from the cd.

anyone can help?O:)

you need to make a new fat32 partition as osx can't read ext3 partitions

Are you holding down "c" right after the startup chime?
Are you using a wireless keyboard? Probably wont work.
(I'm assuming you're trying to install over the linux).
If you're trying to install as a dual boot you should have installed X before linux.
