I've just got my new alu. MacBook 2.4ghz. First time mac user. But I bumped into a problem:

I have a nano router, and the AirPort has nano technology, so I get a maximum of 130 mbps. But when I boot up Windows xp pro sp3 through boot camp and run counter strike or counter strike: source (haven't tried other games) online, the wireless connection reduces to 1 mbps. This, of course, make the game lagg. I tried to use cable instead of the wireless connection, and that works perfect.

Does anybody have the same problem? Any solution? I wasn't planing on gaming next to the router. Please help!

Go over all the wireless settings in XP. If necessary, remove the connection first and reinstall it. You should be getting at least around 10-11 MBS even using an older technology. Another thing you might try is see if you can download and install updated Windows drivers for your airport.

Regards.
