Hi all, a newbie to Macs here and doesn't hep that I am not very good with setting up these things. I have just received my new 13 Inc MacBook.
Until now I have been using my PC laptop both wireless at home and wired when in my office. I have no problem connecting either way until I tried the Macbook. I went through all the set up procedures (or so I think) and for wireless it picks up my wifi network, but will not connect to it. It only goes as far as creating its own IP (self assigned)rather than getting one from the router. As far as I can pick up from my PC this is a DHCP connection and I have the WEP password... What am I missing. I have tried the Diagnostics and the assit me..but nothing seems to work?
Help would be much appreciated...
