In Leopard, there is an option to change picture every 5 seconds, minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, etc in the Desktop & Screensaver preference panel. Not sure if it's in Tiger.

Isn't it funny that some Americans think the rest of the world has Thanksgiving the same time as them. ;D Thanksgiving for me was Oct 13. Why would i have a Thanksgiving wallpaper when for me thanksgiving has been over for me for 4 weeks now. :Smirk:

If anything I would have a Remembrance Day wallpaper for Nov 11. Unfortunately I don't have a good one.

Pallando
11-12-2008, 05:30 AM
Do you know how to make an icon for a folder? If so, take the app off the dock, change the logo, and put it back on.
So the long version:
1. Make icon (in PS or something similar)
2. (If parts are transparent) Save as Tiff and preserve transparency
3. (if parts are transparent) Use Pic2Icon to clean it up a bit
4. Remove app from dock
5. ⌘i on the .tiff
6. Click on the small icon in the corner, ⌘c
7. Find the app, ⌘i, click on the small icon, ⌘v
8. Drag app to dock again
It really doesn't take very much time.

Photoshop. Transform tools and opacity tools to simulate the perspective and reflection.

I like a wallpaper with depth. As I work in front of th computer, I don't want a background that's just flat; it's like looking at the flat screen. Having a wallpaper that provides depth makes it seem like I'm looking into a whole new space, instead of at a flat screen.

Gazzanova, isn't it bad changing the theme of your menu bar, because if an update occurs stuff messes up and so on? At least that's what I heard.

When running OSX on a PC every update has the potential to screw my system, as a hackint0sh has specialised kexts, that why i always use time-machine and always check at the forums at insanelymac.com before updating.

I don't know about you, but Apple has some pretty good built in ones. To access them open up System Preferences, and go to Desktop and Background (I think that's what it's called) and select the picture you like from there, there's tons of categories.
