I bought a MAcbook pro in August (2.4 ghz dual core) I would like to buy a mac cinema display, but I see the new ones that will come out soon, have a new connector that my mac dosnt have. Can I use these new monitors. Is there much of a difference between the new monitors and the current ones besides there looks. How do apples displays compare to non-apple displays?

I believe you may be able to purchase a adapter for the new mini display port Apple is pushing. The new screens are LED backlit much like the Macbooks.

You may also want to consider Dell wide screen displays as they are much cheaper.
