Hello, I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a stereo with a usb input for mp3 players. I have a usb cord with 2 male ends, and I was wondering if it would be possible to connect my macbook pro to the stereo via usb. At least untill I can get the proper cable. Will this be alright for my computer? My friend said it worked for him with his macbook.

The only way to know for sure is to try it.

Alternatively, you can pick up a 1/8" to RCA cable, providing your stereo has RCA inputs, and just run from the headphone jack, to the RCA inputs.

Yeah I ended up getting an adapter, which was cheaper then the RCA to 1/8th, especially since now I can use my super long RCA cable.

Thanks for the input
