first appointment needed :(

so.. my lamp (a small one) fell on my laptop and shattered. now there is ONE JUST ONE CHIPPED FREAKING PIXEL on my screen.. and proabbly little glass shards or shrapnel under the keys. so.. i guess its time to use that pro care and go to an apple store and use my "once a year tune up" and a repair.
i guess before i do that, i should back up my computer to my time capsule.

Your once a year? Whatever you think that is.... is going to be at your expense even if you are still under warranty and\or have applecare. Accidental damage is not included in the warranty or applecare.

I think in Apple stores here they call it "Bad Owner Usage".

What a pity. My brother almost spilled coffee on my MacBook. I freaked. So I can imagine how mad you must feel, sorry.

Too bad that accidental damage isn't covered though. Although I think it should be because what's the opposite, damaging it on purpose?
