Soundtrack Pro - Features Disabled

I'm running Soundtrack Pro v 1.1 on a MacBook with OSX v 10.5.4. Many of the usual functions are disabled, including the option to Adjust Volume Envelope. Any idea why this is happening?

i'm not sure about the specific app, but when using audacity and cool edit pro, i know sometimes things have to be selected, or not selected, or saved or in some other state. have you tried selecting a part or all of the track before trying the adjustment?
