you may prefer bootcamp for native gaming.. that`s m guess... and for MBP 8600m Gt you may also prefer forceware 169.04 from laptopvideo2go.com

I want to use parallels?

While Parallels has some limited 3D support, it's really not powerful enough for most modern games. Boot Camp, on the other hand, allows you to install Windows natively for full access to your hardware.

If you want to play 'GAMES' in general, Boot camp is totally preferable. Parallels totally sucks in gaming. Trust me on this, I've had it for a week but deleted it yesterday.

Neither Parallels nor VM Ware Fusion support 3D hardware acceleration in virtual machines. As a result, assuming you have a Mac with a separate graphics card, running Windows in Boot Camp allows you to run it natively and get 3D hardware acceleration. While these programs do support some 3D operations, current games are beyond their capabilities, although that may change in future versions.

For almost everything else, they work great.
