Drivers don't work with XP, even using bootcamp and leopard installation disk

I installed windows xp 32 bit version with SP2 on my macbook pro. However, when I tried installing all the drivers using the leopard disk, I couldn't get them to install. Do you know a network/ethernet driver I could download (onto a flash drive) to get the internet working, so I could run microsoft update or a driver scanner program to get the other drivers I need?

Why do that when you can boot into OS X and download the drivers you need from either MS or direct from the hardware vendor?

Also, I don't understand why you can't use your Leopard disk to install the drivers? What kind of error(s) did you receive? You might also want to download the Boot Camp 2.1 update and try again.

You need Broadcom network drivers for starters - try http://www.driverguide.com

Well that's what I'm asking about. I've been trying for days to figure out the correct drivers, but few things seem to work.

All of the drivers installed, but they just didn't seem to work. There was still no sound, no internet, choppy video, etc. When I tried repairing drivers from the bootcamp app, the same thing happened.
