So I recently installed Windows xp on my macbook pro. So far I haven't had a problem with it besides one thing.
Tonight, I was trying to install Everquest: Titanium edition.
I popped in the CD, and all I hear is weird noises coming from the CD drive. My computer wouldn't even recognize that the CD was in my drive. Neither could I remove it right away. I tried it again then I cleaned the disk and tried it yet again. Nothing worked. The laptop failed to recognize the disk. We tried the disk on my friends Gateway FX and it worked; and I installed Starcraft the day before....
What could the problem be? What is the solution?
