Hello everyone.. I finally switched over and got myself a 2.4Ghz MacBook. Plan to upgrade the RAM to 4GB...

Am now looking for a good external display that can be hooked up to my MB.. To be used mainly for processing digital photos..

Hoping to find something for under USD 500... Any suggestions anyone?

Cheers!

I have the same machine and use a 22" Samsung Syncmaster 220WM display.

However, any high quality external display with digital input should be fine. The large displays are usually matte although I have seen some that are glossy. A large glossy display would be OK since its use would be indoors under controlled lighting.

Look for a high contrast ratio and fast response time. You should have no difficulty finding one under $500.00.

Regards.
