I am a new MAC user. We have Imac desktop version 10.4.4. (Processor 1.83 GHz). Currently I am facing an issue connecting to internet. Any address I type will be translating to another website and then the browser displays can't find server message. This happens both on Firefox and safari. The machine is on LAN in my workplace. When I tried Network Diagnostics everything showed up green except server. However, in this system I am able to connect to Intranet that is all our internal applications are working but I cannot launch any other website such as Google or apple.com etc. I checked with our PC Lan there is no restriction on internet. I am using Built in Ethernet connection.
Any thoughts on why I can't connect to Internet. Thank you in advance.
