LG 18X External Dvd Burner

I just wanted to tell everyone that I purchased this dvd burner and I couldn't be happier. No where on the box does it say its mac compatible but after hearing through a friend that it worked I bought it, compared to one of my other options I saved 70$.

So if there is anyone out there that is looking for an external dvd burner, I suggest this one.
