Hello,

I used to have a wireless network set up at home when I had the old Mac operating system installed (I think it was Tiger). I also had WEP security switched on.

Now I installed the new Mac OS (Leopard) and I am having problems connecting to my wireless home network. I can connect if I don't have security enabled, and I can also connect to the wireless network at work.

Has anyone experienced similar?

Thanks,
Lily.

You shouldn't have any problems. Or at least should be able to connect. Try resetting the WEP password to make sure you are typing it correctly, then try connecting again from the laptop.

Or change to WPA security if your router supports it.

I've had 3 instances (2 mb, 1 mbp) where I couldn't connect using WEP. Never got to the bottom off it. As far as I know the Macs all support wep.
