Hello,
I'm a fairly ignorant Mac user so forgive me if this post is a silly question.
I want to record on my shiny new MacBook and want to plug in my Trace Acoustic TA 100R amp to do so. I've a makeshift XLR (out from the amp) to little jack (into the Mac) but am afraid that it may in some way harm my MacBook! I'm assuming it can handle it, since the point of having garageband is to record but really, really, don't want to kill my laptop.
Can anyone tell me if this is a dangerous/perfectly normal idea?
Thanks x
