Macbook /MB PRO and RAM

So any macbook or macbook pro that have intel core duo 2 can be upgraded to 4gb of RAM even if it has like 2.0ghz?

No, early Core 2 Duo MacBooks could only take 2GBs and early Core 2 Duo MBPs could take only 3GBs.

You basically need to check the model numberof a MacBook. If it's a "B" revision (MB063LL/B for example) then it can take 4GBs (MacBook).

There was no 2ghz C2D MBP model, however anything above the 2.2ghz model can handle 4GBs of RAM. All previous/slower models are 3GBs only - the 1.67GHz model is 2GBs only.
