Ok, so as the title says i have a 1st generation ipod nano that i want to transfer all that music...and artwork to my new MacBook (it has only been used with windows) is that possible??? I have music from my own laptop and some of the older music that i downloaded on my family Pc before my laptop so i cant just transfer both whole libraries (dont want that). So can i just update my first gen. iPod and transfer that into my new itunes on the mac?? And if so the album art would transfer too...correct?

thanks for helpin a noob :)

yes, there are many programs that do this. I use 'Senuti'.

Not sure about the album art, but iTunes can get that for you automatically anyway.
