Help me out a bit

Whenever I go on the web, I find myself on the same old sites.

I like going on this forum, the BBC, Digg, Wikipedia and New Scientist but there is so much web out there I am not seeing.

So, what are your favourite sites and why, hopefully this will widen my web from its current narrow focus

Thanks all ;D

I second The Onion.

Economist.com is a great place to get current events around the world. The writing is the best you will get anywhere.

Facebook...Gmail...MacRumors.com.

Good topic!

Want to see my website? You know where it is. ;P

I only go on forums really. I sometimes use youtube and some other services like answers.yahoo.com. Then just random stuff I suppose.

They have a podcast, too.

I like JimmyR.com. The site basically has links to take you to the best things on the internet on that day. It has Digg: Best of Last 24 Hours, Del.icio.us, Reddit, Best of YouTube, and more.

I picked JimmyR.com up when I watched his YouTube channel for Windows problems...

Some of his videos are actually really interesting, whether you use Windows or not.

Imagine youtube on drugs with a lot of other non video humour too. That's what this site is all about. Well worth a look into.

http://www.seanbaby.com/

That is a similar thing, another humour site.
