So I switched from Open WEP to Shared Key WEP so that my DS could go online. All my PCs work on the wifi but now my MacBook doesn't. It keeps saying I have the wrong password. The WEP keys haven't changed, the only change was the switch from Open to Shared Key.
Is there anything special I have to do to get it to connect to a Shared Key 64bit WEP? I'm running Leopard 10.5.4

This is a shoot in the dark here. If you pass word is in hex, you will need to place a $ before the pass word.

What is the key index # set to on the router? If the key index # isn't set to 1, macs wont connect. I dont know why but macs dont have a setting to change the key index #. At least not that i know of yet.

If this is too much of a problem just choose a better encryption if your router allows. As WEP 128Bit or even better WPA.
