Ok so i have a ibook os x 10.4 and a mac mini running the latest os x

Goals:
Move all the files off my laptop and have them only store on the mini
Be able to retrieve files remotely from my mini on my ibook when not connected to my home network

Has anyone successfully done this using the apple file sharing?
Also i want to put an external hard drive off the mini as a backup. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Todd

No problem - I assume you already have a router that both of these machines connect to.

I personally use SMB on my network, but knowing Apple, AFP is probably pretty slick.

I like Seagate - with a 5 year warranty, you can't go wrong.
