mighty mouse not being so mighty

well i had my mighty mouse (wireless) hooked up to my mac mini which had tiger. Recently upgraded to a Macbook (black) and i tried to hook up the mighty mouse to the comp everythign looked good. Only thing is the tracking won't adjust when i adjust it. Also the scroll ball click button doesn't open all windows when i set it to that function. and neither does the side click buttons. What does happen is the side clicks doesn't really do anything or if i am in the browser it presses the back button for some reason. And the scroll ball click sends the cursor to the x-out button. And the cursor automatically goes to the blue option on dialog boxes.
