What if, I got a second iMac , lets say for my office

Can i clone my macbook HD to that iMac so I wont have the hassle of installing and transferring all my programs all over again.

Would like some feedback, thanks!

Does this apply for programs I've had installed . For example like Adobe Illustrator CS3?

Yes it does, and adobe license agreement lets you have 2 copies installed, so that you can use a copy on your portable and home machines
