Sounds like it's the camera equivalent of a Win modem. All the digital cameras (3 Fujis, 2 Kodaks, a Cannon, and a Nikon) I've connected to my iBook have worked flawlessly. Did it come with any documantation for Mac users?

there has to be a manufacturer website, do a search for the camera, see who makes it, check their website for drivers, or try image capture. image capture is in the path: mac hd>applications>utilities>image capture

do they have a website? if so, go to it and look for mac drivers, or try image capture while the camera is connected and see if it reads it.

If indeed it supports TWAIN, then Image Capture should be able to access it.
