iTunes to PC

I want to move my iTunes Music collection from my MacBook, to my PC. I tired dragging the folder to an external drive, but it didn't work. I also tried sending it over my network, but it wouldn't let me connect to my Network/PC.

Perhaps a home based FTP server?

Its only about 3GB's.

Any ideas?
