When I run windows in boot camp on my macbook, the settings in the control panel say that it registers a connection, but when I enter Internet Explorer, it say that there is no connection. I can't install the drivers from the OSX disc until I download a newer version of windows installer. How do I set up a connection?

Something not right here.... But anyway, boot back into OS X and download the new version of the Windows installer from there. If your Boot Camp partition is formatted to FAT-32 just drag the new *.msi or *.exe file to the Windows desktop. If formatted to NTFS, use a thumb drive to transfer the file to the Windows installation. Boot to XP and execute the file.

Let us know.

Regards.
