Your Login Name

I'm often interested in and either impressed or amused by many of the invented names people use as their identity. So how and why did you invent your login name [privacy and/or anonymity respected]?

I'll start - I used my first two given names and shuffled them about a bit. Initially it was because my chosen identity was either taken already, or didn't meet the rules of engagement (so to speak). I now have the one i-d for all forums, in fact most overseas web sites.

Easy in my case. The D is for Dennis and the rest is my last name. 7 is a number I like a lot.

Changed from my old stand by. A convert to Mac, and I like knights.

yeah but at least the last page isnt to old. i love when i browse the forum and some one brings up a thread and answers a question that has been inactive for 2-3 years

I'm not exactly sure where mine comes from. I was registering, and I couldn't think of a good name. Suddenly, PinkLemonade just popped into my head.

To you bryphotoguy, and the others who think this topic has dust, mould or rust on it, I did look - promise - but only in this particular forum. Maybe I didn't use quite the right keywords. I suggested Login Name and the search came up with nothing directly related.

mine is from the name of one of my guitars "sanity" and my birth month and year 10/1982. i have used this name since i started using aim many years ago

mine is from cause I play waterpolo, and for AIM ( 5 years ago) waterpoloH20 was taken so it suggested waterpolo820, so i took it.

My initials are JMJ and my birthday is 22-93

A surgeon, who drives a Z06 Corvette.

Well when I was a kid there was a snes game called Terranigma. And if you didn't add a name for the main character there, it just input Ark. And years later I thought hey that was a pretty cool game and a pretty cool name. So I used the name but most forums already had someone who beat me to it. So I thought what else could I use. My favourite number is 8. So I merged the two together and got my username.

I love football, and the patriots are my favorite team. Just really the only thing i could think of when I was sining up.

Mine is easy. My initials are MAC, and I was born in 1957. Voila! "mac57".

...and you thought it was because I was posting from my 57th Mac, didn't you??
