I just traded my tilt for an 8gb iphone. When i switched my sim into the iphone, my sim is not recognized. Can anyone help me me with getting my sim recognized without me calling cingular and switching my plan to some crappy iphone plan.

All AT&T sims are supposed to work. Is the phone unlocked/jailbroken?Did you verify that the iPhone was working? I have an iPhone sitting here that won't read sims either.

Try restoring the phone.

You need to go to AT&T and get a new sim card. Or hack your phone to get it to work with any sim, Which I have no clue how to do.

Download Ziphone 3.0 and unlock the iphone. All you do is click "unlock" and "activate" on the program and it will do everything for you. very easy. That will get your sim working.
