Here is an article summarizing larger and faster drives for notebooks. Are these only available in Europe? Why are manufacturers (like Samsung with its 500GB M6 ) introducing only in Europe?

Where does it say anything about Europe?

And if they were introduced in Europe first I doubt it would be forever - that would be ridiculous. 'bout time we had something first though, I'm sick of waiting for things to come over from the states.

There is a price quote at the end and it appears to be for pounds?

And I am searching for the WD drive and can't find it in USA.

I'm sorry if you had to wait in the past for products to come from the USA. But appears the table is turned and you are getting things first!!
