15" MBP 2.16GHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD
I am a former iPhone owner but sold the phone because it lacked some basic features. I was wondering if these features have been fixed via software update or will they be addressed in iPhone 3G...

-ear speaker volume(definitely couldn't use the iPhone in a crowded bar when I owned one)
-copy/paste
-picture messaging
-battery life
