Just picked up my new MBP. I'm about to install XP via bootcamp.

Would it be possible to transfer my Microsoft Money program from my pc laptop onto the MBP? I'm currently on deployment and my install disc is at home? It's no big deal if I have to wait until I get home.

Thanks for any info.

Depends on how old your version of MS Money is. :D I was still using Money 3.0 (very old) before I switched to an OS X version. Money 3 used an *.ini file rather than make registry entries so it was easily transferable from machine to machine.

Anyway, what I did when I purchased the MacBook was to export all my Money data in the standard QIF format and imported it into my new OS X program. I was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Do a Google search for an OS X program to replace Money or get on the Apple site and look at their suggestions. You'll be much happier running a native OS X program rather than fool with XP and Boot Camp. Of course if you're a gamer.....

Regards.
