Chooser won't open

I'm running Mac OS 9.2.2. Trying to print to an Epson printer. I installed the driver, but when I try to open the Chooser to set up the printer, it flashes open, and then closes. Any ideas?

Gosh , its been a while since I used OS 9, can you uninstall the epson drivers and see if the chooser works then, it may be the new drivers at fault

Try to reinstall the printer driver,turn off any third party extensions that may
conflict. You may have to reinstall the chooser, a clean install of the OS.

Turns out Chooser was locked, had to do hold down C+R+M to unlock, then reinstalled the driver, and was all set. Thanks to all for your help!
