so recently i picked up a G4 powermac mirrored drive door model. its a fantastic computer for $150. the only problem that i have is that after putting it to sleep, my applications stop working. aim comes on and i can message on it but nothing else works. no calculator, no ical, no internet browser. so how do i fix this? other than that the machine runs fine aside from a periodic whine sound that comes from one of the 4 hard drives... i think the main one.

Great find!
Only $150, what a deal!
What OS are you using?
I have no idea what your problem may be, but have you tried software update?
