SMS Txt msg limit?

Is there any way to increase the length of txt msg's that can be received? And please don't say "Just get people to write more".

i have never had a problem with a limit and i have recieved some longer txt msgs i know that other cell carriers limit size and that could be the problem

Yeah I don't believe there there is any limit on characters that the iPhone can accept.

Most smart phones tend not to have limits on the length of text messages, including the iPhone
