Does anyone know if there are plans to make Apple TV have DVR capability? If so, would this just take software to happen versus a hardware upgrade.

It would obviously need a hardware upgrade as you would need some sort of coax input into the device. Only way I see it being a software upgrade would be if Apple supplied a USB tuner.

It would be really nice to see a DVR soon being I am sick of my Cable providers DVR which seems to be programed to shut off during a game or in the middle of a show. I was hoping take two would have been a new product with DVR in it and not just an update. Apple would make a killing if or when they do it
