convert .tif to .eps

Just as the title says, what is the best way to convert a .tif file to a .eps

Use the "save as..." in your image editing software to save it as an .EPS file.

Thanks didnt think of opening it in an editing software and changing the file format

TIFF = bitmap, EPS = vector.

By saving a TIFF image as an EPS, all you're doing is embedding a graphic in a vector file. There's no point in doing it, unless your combining vector and bitmap elements in an image.
