Orange UK Edge trouble, 1.1.4

Hi all,

Just got a new iPhone yesterday and unlocked it with an Orange sim. I am currently having trouble with getting Edge signal anywhere at the moment, even when i have a good signal. I have tried different APN settings but i am still only getting GPRS. Anyone using Orange on an iPhone? Any ideas how to fix my issue?

Don't unlock it. You will get no techincal support from O2, apple or Orange...

Here's your answer... Orange don't support edge nor the network settings of the edge as it for o2 exclusively.

i dont think there is any edge in the UK, no matter what provider ur on

There is on 02..

And there is on Orange according to their business users department...... but only in areas without 3g coverage I'm afraid.
