After a conversation with my father about laptops setup with a desktop display for office or home, I had an idea for a much easier solution, and was wondering about the feasability.
I'm going to purchase a new MacBook Pro soon (holding out for the updates). I have an iMac G5 (2005, the last year before the Intel switch, also mostly why I'm buying a new lappy), and I was wondering if there was a way to connect the G5 to the Pro as a Display. That way I could come home and shut down the desktop and function it as a display.
