trying to connect Studio Display to G-5, please help?

I have an older (2003, I believe) flat screen Mac Studio Display that I would like to plug into my (relatively new) G5 tower. .... But the monitor plug doesn't fit into the tower outlet. There's gotta be an existing converter plug, but I'm not sure what it would be called or what to search for.

(Very frustrating that a Mac screen won't plug into a Mac tower!!!)

Any advice? thanks!!!
