EL GATO EYETV HYBRID: Does it work with ISDB-T?

Hi

Does anyone knows if the El Gato EyeTv Hybrid USB Stick works with the HDTV over the air japanese system ISDB-T? This system was adopted in Brazil, where I live, and I'm intending to buy this EyeTv Hybrid in a trip to New York.

I don't know if only works with the American System, the ATSC...

If I just plug the USB in my mac, the stick will recognize the HDTV ISDB-T signal here in Brazil and I'll tune the TV automatically?

Someone can help me?

Nope, the one you linked to support digital & analog NTSC cable or ATSC.
The other elgato products also only support cable, ATSC or DVB-T - not ISDB-T.

Gotta love standards, eh?

you will have to look for a japanese supplier since that's the only other country using that standard

Ok! Thank you guys. I googled for another one. There's a japanese stick that might work. I'll try to buy it online.
