Just wanted to update everyone so you didn't think we were crazy...

There was neither a nomination nor vote for a March MoTM and we are deeply sorry for the oversight. Look for the April nominations to happen in the next week...

Thanks for understanding!

All the previous MoTM's should be punished / banned for this oversight .....

on second thought .....

To be honest though, I didn't even notice.

I think the universe was upset that I did not make the final five in Feb so it made March not even happen. Or was that January?

I e-mailed a few mods last week. I guess I shoulda asked the head man.
It'd be nice to see the MoTM reign during the month they're elected instead of mid month to mid month reign.
Punish former MoTM PBG4? Aren't you a former MoTM?? I'd hate to see all of the super cool MoTM's torn apart.

That means that Brown Study is the longest presiding MOTM in history

But he has to stand down after 2 terms in office

Acually I think iWhat won it two months running (December and January), (so it technically wasn't the same year), so he still holds the longest consecutive term.

Plus B-S won in the shortest month of the year.. ;)

Good, it will give me an extra month to campaign for the April race.

Unfortunately for you cheesy, getting the MoTM nomination is much like voting for the Pope. You don't get to campaign, you are simply selected ;P

Well now that the 12-month rule has gone the way of the Berlin wall, the MotM badge can be won consecutively and forever how long the members gets votes...

HMM not sure I made sense here... Need more coffee... argh. :P

But the 12 month rule is gone though.

Didn't realize the 12 month rule was out the window.

How about the mods can't be a MoTM rule going the same way?

I know it's extremely rare, O:) but on occasion there's been the mod that's deserved at least the nomination.

bryphotoguy

Yea, I noticed during the last nominations that there was no mention of the 12 month rule.

Is it going to work out so the winner is announced on the first of the month instead the 10th?

schweb

No, the timing will remain the same.

That's a really good point! I second it.

The mods (moderators and administrators) are members too. Yes they have authority to maintain order, but hopefully too they are here to have some fun and enjoy being in the M-F community.

The interweb tube to my place is plugged up with a super-double-quarter-pounder with cheese, bacon and extra lard drippings from the deep-fryer.

How long does cheese cake keep in an interweb tube in the winter?

MacHeadCase
03-19-2008, 07:20 PM
Hmm good question. I would think a cheesecake clogs up even harder 'cuz the cheeseburger has at least some animal fat to make it slide a bit.

Cheese and sugar together, it's a well-known fact, slam on the brakes in wintertime : they're only happy in tropical weather. They're fickle like that, real party animals, I tell you.
