What's with the spinning cursor when trying to use "Open With"? Goes on for minutes.

Then Adobe Illustrator will unexpecedly quit?

What's wrong.

Your Mac's Specs
2GHz C2D macbook
here is what to do:
1. select HD, get info, content index, index now. (may take a while, be patient)
2. users>home>library>preferences>adobe illustrator settings>illustrator preferences> deleate the file.
3. open disc utility, repare permitions
4. shut down (not restart)
5. start up.

it may help

I did all that many times. Still happens.
