My college limits your bandwidth to a certain amount each hour, and if you exceed it, you are kicked off until you click reset on the prompted webpage. But if you exceed the limit 3 times per day, you are kicked off for 24 hours. Is there anyway to get around this?

Also, when i am kicked off for the 24 hour period, i can still use someone else's connection to access the internet. The main reason this is the issue is that our internet is so slow anyway, i tested it today and got under 500kps downloading. Any help would be appreciated! thanks

Unfortunately, schools have these policies in effect system wide, so there's no real way to get around the bandwidth quota.

You should just be glad you don't have a really fast university network. Gets real tempting to go skirt the limit.
