There are ways to load a web browser onto but take a bit of work. One could also use the AirPlay feature to mirror the phone/iPad screen to the Apple TV.You may find this article helpful. One of these methods should work with little hassle.

Hey Sly... great idea. I didn't know you could use AirPlay to mirror the screen from an iPad or iPhone to an Apple TV. I did find out how to mirror my iPhone screen to my iMac and actually tried it for a bit. It looked awful. LOL.

I have mirrored my IOS screen to the Apple TV a few times for things like Amazon Prime but haven't tried it for web pages. As I mentioned in the show tonight I think some sites might look better than others. I think I would have to pair a Bluetooth keyboard with my phone for that. Entering things on the iPhone screen would get a little tedious I think.

I haven't tried this mainly because our TV is only 720p so the iMac screen looks better for most things.
