2.4GHz or 5GHz?

Does the current Apple TV support both bands or just the 2.4GHz band? I know it doesn't support ac but was curious about the bands, I don't see the info listed on Apple's website.

Come on man…be nice. Why not just thank Harry for providing a good link?? The answer you wanted is there…check it out.

If someone replied & ONLY said "Google it". Then that might be a different story.

Sometimes it's a lot easier to provide a link…then to type out a long explanation manually.

That article was written in 2009, the latest Apple TV is newer than 2009, I never said I didn't understand Wi-Fi or what bands meant, I just asked if Apple TV supported 5GHz or not because it's not noted on Apple's website, I'm not as dumb as you're trying to make me out to sound. This is why I'm not a fan of "forums", there is always someone who has to be a smart *** to someone's post and then when they reply back in the same manner it's their fault and not the original person who started it.

I'll just stick to Apple Care, where was my head...

FYR...a simple "yes" or "no" was all I needed, not a huge article where I have to go searching through a 6 year old story that doesn't have the info that I asked to begin with.

Sorry, but that's not the way forums operate. None of us are paid technical support workers but simply volunteering our time trying to help one another. If you don't like an answer, just reply with a simple "thanks" and move on.

It may not have been a perfect 100% answer (or an answer exactly the way you wanted it). But Harry did take the time to reply (and find the link for you).

And you never know. Someone else may reply…and add additional info to what Harry provided.

Just thank Harry. Wait for additional replies. And maybe post a clarifying question or statement.
