Quick question. I have a Power Mac G5 1.6GHz with 1GB Ram.
Would the new Apple TV work with the Power Mac?

I'm not sure what version of iTunes you need to use the ATV2. Check Apples site and look at the ATV requirements then see what the latest version of iTunes your Mac will support. You may fall short.

- Waiting for a mate . . .
- 21" iMac 2.9Ghz 16GB RAM & 13"MBP 2.9Ghz i7 8GB RAM 10.10.3, iPhone5 & iPad Air 2 iOS 8.3, ATV3
From the Apple site
Wi-Fi (802.11a, b, g, or n) wireless network (wireless video streaming requires 802.11a, g, or n) or 10/100BASE-T Ethernet network
iTunes Store account for renting movies and purchasing TV shows
For streaming media from a Mac or PC: iTunes 10.2 or later; iTunes Store account for Home Sharing
So it looks like you need iTunes 10.2 to run on ATV2. If you have Leopard installed then you should be right to go

I managed to get the iTunes and Quicktime updated. All working seamlessly now.
