I know a clinic near my area where you can get $5,000 for donating one of your testicles...
It might be worth it for a 8 core Mac Pro...

    Specs:
    iMac 2.93C2D 4GB
But if you want the top configuration (2x 3.0ghz quad, 4x750gb HD's, 16gig memory, 2 dual 30" screens best graphics card etc.) you're gonna need 4 testicles! Maybe you could share it with a friend...

Yeah, I just counted to make sure... rats!

anyone wanna go in on one?

You'd almost have to max it completely out to um, compensate for your losses.

My gosh, though, that is one heck of a machine...

I thought a new form-factor was expected? This looks like the same case as the 2x2 processor Mac Pro.

And I wonder how much benefit you'll really get from the 8 processors before Leopard is released.

And in other news today, Microsoft announced that it will partner with an as-yet unnamed PC builder to create the world's first quad-core processor computer sometime in 2012.

I'm with you. I won't be investing until I can get at least 64 gig of RAM. That thing is a toy.

    What a Disappointment........
No price changes. Only thing new is you can get dual quad cores @ 3.0 gigs.

No graphics card updates, literally nothing else other than a processor selection.

    Keep it, Apple. :radioacti

Pricing out my dream box now...just a hair over $15k:

    Mac Pro: $6000
    Two 3ghz Quad-core processors
    1gb ram (swap out)
250gb 7200rpm hard drive (swap out)
Quadro FX 4500 512mb video card
    One 16x SuperDrive
    Bluetooth+EDR & Airport Extreme
    Wired keyboard and mouse
    AppleCare
OWC Netlist 16gb certified ram: $2,125.00
    Hitachi 1tb hard drives: $400 each (4 x $400 = $1600)
    Apple 30" LCD monitors: $1800 each (3 x $1800 = $5400)

I'd need another graphics card to run the third monitor...mmm...

    Three 30" LCD monitors
    Eight 3ghz processors
    16gb ram
3 terabytes Hard Drive space in RAID 5
    1gb of video memory
    CD/DVD burner

    Yowza!
