Attaching AV cables.

Does anyone know if something exists that would allow you to attach AV (audio video) cables to your macbook pro and essentially use the screen as a TV screen? For example, something that would allow you to play your xbox using your macbook screen as a tv. Any thoughts?

those seem like they work for capturing video off a VHS or even cable television, but I'm not sure if they would allow me to play my xbox using my computer screen as a TV. Here's my situation; I'm in college, I live in a small dorm, I have high speed internet, xbox, and my macbook pro, but no television close. We don't have cable in our rooms so there is really no need for a TV and I certainly don't have the space for it, however I would like to try and play my xbox in my room. I'll have to look into the eyetv more and see if you can do that although I don't feel very confident about the situation. Thanks for the suggestion though, I appreciate it
